You're not going to take it anymore. From edgy publisher Rockstar's Vancouver development team comes this dark comedy set in the most vile and sadistic setting yet in a Rockstar videogame: the schoolyard. As a troublesome schoolboy, you'll laugh and cringe as you stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks on malicious kids, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the fictitious reform school, Bullworth Academy.
I've been pressing refresh for a week hoping for a early release of this game, it's out on tuesday so Im hoping it will get leaked this weekend. However I dont see anyone discussing it! Have everybody played the ps2 version and isnt looking forward to this game? The closest discussion I've seen for this game is that guy who posted the fake release, then got banned and topic locked.
So please, somebody discuss this game's "anticipated" release with me while we wait

I never played Bully for ps2 because I never had a ps2, but I allways wanted to play it and this new release came as a great relief! However if it does come out this weekend and it's not Pal compatible, someone's getting hurt, probably my new neighbor.
how is the gameplay in this game? you run around and do what?- is it some minigames collection or a "adventure-type" game? didnt realy get that after watching some trailers
I beat Bully on PS2.. will i get it for 360? probably yes.. the story isnt great.. you are at boarding school and you have to attend lessons which are mini games and stick to the clock (ie get back before lights out) but once you have beaten every level of a certain class you can not attend. Its okay.. the achievements look shit though, once i beat the main game i never wanted to get 100%
Looking forward to this, could shorten the upcoming weeks until GTA4 comes out. Somehow reminds me of Skool Daze with slightly improved graphics, sadly it's nothing like Teacher Busters though.
I'm gonna go ahead and ask a probably stupid question, but - what's so good about Bully? I have unfortunately not read much at all about it, and doesn't seem (to me) all that interesting. But so many people seem to be looking forward to it, it can't be that bad.. can it?

Well first of all its a Rockstar game but maybe thats enough!
Why would it be bad if so many people are looking forward to it?

Played Bully back on the PS2, it's OK... i played for several hours and then got bored of it, maybe i will download this and give it another chance as i didn't get too far into the game. but then again i probably won't!
As a mischievous schoolboy, you'll stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the worst school around, Bullworth Academy - a corrupt and crumbling prep school with an uptight facade.
The story follows Jimmy Hopkins, a teenager who's been expelled from every school he's ever attended. Left to fend for himself after his mother abandons him at Bullworth to go on her fifth honeymoon, Jimmy has a whole year at Bullworth ahead of him, working his way up the social ladder of this demented institution of supposed learning, standing up for what he thinks is right and taking on the liars, cheats and snobs who are the most popular members of the student body and faculty. If Jimmy can survive the school year and outsmart his rivals, he could rule the school.
