If i burn a MKV 720P on a dual layer disk, as a data file, doe's anyone know if PS3 will play the resulting disk, was thinking about trying it, but before i do, just thought i'd see if anyone has actually tried it and succeeded.

PS3 does not play MKV, you need to convert the file.
