Code: | "Introducing the ability to play the latest console games (i.e. Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, etc.) on your PC. Many of these games are only available on consoles today and with this new feature would now be available on the PC as well. With this new feature those console games are now playable on your PC!
- Uses the same game controllers as the original console system (all games use regular console controllers, not your computer keyboard or mouse.)" |
If true i think im gonna play some 360 games instead of those lame ps2 ports.

c'mon guys.... this is bs.
It took 5+ years to develop the ps2 emulator PCSX2 and it's still in development, and this guys have created a emulator for ALL the next-gen consoles? This is just ridiculous....

Did anybody see ps2 emulatiion? Performance is dog shit, the only thing that works are the veeery old ones line NES, SNES and ps1 to a degree the next gen stuff is impšossible to emulate right now, how can you when they are faster than a lot of comps out there.

Thats master bullshit, as far as i know, the PC needs to be 5x more powerful than the actual concole to be able to run an emulator for his games. Even the Dreamcast emulator is not 100% workable and we're talking about a console that was release in 1999

You guys know that console games are created on PCs, right? Don't know how it is for PS3, but with the 360 (and XB1) it is possible to execute development software with the MS tools they provide you once they recognize you as a developer.

We are not developers, so we don't exactly have that advantage.

Of course. However, I can't see any reason why developers would execute a console game made for three cores or eight with specific processor instructions and two video cards non-existing on PCs, and so on.

Total bullshit. It's probably just a VGA box or something.

Gee, ya don't say?

No. Xbox code, even development code, won't run on a native Windows PC. It still has to be executed on a debug Xbox, which is connected to a devkit PC. It can stream the in-development game data off that dev PC, but it's still being executed on the console itself.

Cedge speaks the truth, same goes for PS3, there the dev environment is gcc 3.0 on Linux but still with a developer enabled console running the code, regarding the Wii I don't know as I've not touched that sdk.
Just the fact that translating the various architecture functions to x86 is a very big task and not one easily accomplished unless you have the entire hardware spec, it should go without saying that these companies wouldn't release that to a thirdparty.
That leaves only good old trial and error debugging which I don't believe anyone can accomplish on that many systems at once.
Finally the executable scripts on ps3 discs are encrypted with a unique key, on the ps3 theres an integrated chip decrypting that and verifying the discs are signed by Sony, they'd have to figure out how to decrypt the scripts individually or emulate said chip which again they'd have to be of the top brass at Sony to have any knowledge of.
This is also the reason you don't see any modchips for the ps3 enabling playable backups.
In any case, it's safe to say this program is bogus.
