No seriously ever since my wife got this cat, I have had a catalog of bad fortune fall upon me. I fucking hate cats and I believe this cat carries severe grievances against me, and may have initiated some type of curse. In all culminated today when I had a bad car accident, after locking the cat in the basement all day yesterday. Before this cat i wasnt even registered with a doctor but since we got it I have had:
Diagnosed degenerative disc disease
Severe sciatica
Death of grandparent
Tendonitis in elbow
Broken toes
First car wreck ever
Diagnosed Phase 1 hypertension
Bad allergic reaction to medication
This is in the space of 1 year.

That is a lot of bad crap on your plate. I have my own medical issue and sometimes it does help to talk to a really good friend or a doctor. Sometimes when bad things happen people seek to find an explanation for it. Blaming it on cat or animal lacks common sense. Cats make wonderful companions for people. If you have a huge problem with the cat you should talk to your wife about finding it a new home where it will be loved by a whole family. Althou if I was in her position I would kick the guy out before I would ever got rid of one of my animals.
Back in the days when they were still burning women for witchcraft they actually accused, found guilty and hung a cow. Poor cow.

Other than you not liking cats, why would this cat not like you? Perhaps it is Karma?
On a serious note, I think you are looking for a means to justify what is going on with your life.
You have a lot going on and need to take some time to deal with the issue's and not the symptoms.
Pistol is right, find a good friend and talk, and then enjoy yourself.
Read not to contradict and confute, nor to believe and take for granted, but to weigh and consider.
