Not entirely sure if Im posting this in the right location so it may need to be moved! It seemed the most appropriate at the time however.
I work for a computer components and peripherals reseller and we sell to the general public. Last week a customer of mine bought a HiPoint Universal Notebook Power Supply Adapter and today they returned it explaining that the one of the eight connectors had broken.
Standard procedure is to RMA it and get it sent back to our supplier for replacement. After requesting an RMA number, my supplier declined to accept it back telling me that unless damage had been caused in transit or it was a manufacturing fault, they would do nothing about it. Not really happy about that but thats the way it goes. So I decide to track down HiPoint and see if I can arrange something with them.
The thing is they dont seem to exist! I know they manufacture many other different peripherals as we stock items with HiPoint on the packaging but after spending the last hour trawling Google, I have come to a complete halt with regards to finding any contact details. The fact that there are so many different HiPoint companies and Highpoint companies doesnt help matters either.
So does anyone know of HiPoint and how I might be able to contact them?
