What does this mean, what is the estimated delivery time for this service if a guy from the US sends something to the Netherlands, I just can't interpret the USPS site, is it 1-3 days guarenteed, or is it 3-5, what is it, I can't even find EMS anywhere on that USPS site?

Only international options I see on that site are,

Service Options Price Speed *

Global Express Guaranteed® $28.50 and up 1-3 Days

Express Mail International® $22.00 and up 3-5 Days

Priority Mail® International $16.00 and up 6-10 Days

First-Class Mail® International $0.69 and up

I know I paid 90$ for shipping, so what service is this guy shipping with when he mentions EMS??

would it not depend on the weight too?

But I guess it depends on what he choose. The Global Express Guaranteed should take a max of 3 days, etc.

If he sent it non-guaranteed, you could of course say you didnt recieve it! So i guess he did that.

he sent it not guarenteed, I just mailed him, not guarenteed just means it won't be at my house within 1-3 days, so its probably gonna take 3-5 days:( Don't think it depends on weight, cuz its rather small, just around 700grams or something, 2 cpu's in their retail box with heatsink, dunno what that weighs but I am guessing not over a kg.

EMS aka Express Mail Service [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Express_Mail_Service ]
As I am understand, EMS - is a service offered by national mail system, but DHL, FedEx, etc are transport companies. EMS has tracking service just like at DHL, FedEx, etc. and packages are delivered by couriers again just like DHL, FedEx, etc.

For example, here if I ship orders from web shops to Russia via national mail system or EMS I don't have to pay customs fees on orders <= 10 000 RUB (around $400). But via DHL, FedEx, etc. there is possibility of customs fees on orders > $100 as such orders are subject to more detail customs inspection Smile
