morning:)
i woke up this morning with the enthusiasm for the room cleaning games like the swat series and rainbow six since 2003, so if you please name good games of this genre you played since 2003 it will be grteat. i know i missed one or two and you guys always telling me of games i missed during the years.

Well, there's that new game frozen synapse. It's hard but fun.
That's about it. There's the oooold police quest games. Swat 3 and 2.
It's a genre that never really took off.

SWAT 4 is where it's at. We even talked about it with SpykeZ yesterday. The little mansion mission where a guy keeps a girl kind of like in Silence of Lambs.. Jesus fuck, that was creepy.

Yeah, Swat 3&4 are good, R6 Vegas 1&2 (althou 2nd one is more of a cover based shooter)

The vegas games don't hold any ground to be mentioned in this thread. 1) They're absolute consolized garbage. 2) They're nothing like what he's asking for...it's just a pew pew pew duck cover pew pew game. |

thanks for the correction about the clear/clean but even misstake can be good teacher cause now i will look for Housewife Simulator 4.0 too

i mean, hard makes the situations in the game more realistic?

Frozen Synapse came out a few days ago. It's on steam for 20 right now, you get 2 copies when you buy it so you can send a copy to a friend.

It makes the situations real pain sometimes. Enemies take more pressure to surrender and they shoot more when trying to arrest etc.
Of course, overall success rating is more difficult to achieve.

I completely agree, although they can be quite fun online imo; too bad that the servers are almost desert and they're constantly plagued by lag. :/ |

Swat 3 & 4 (I do prefere 3 though) and as already mentioned R6 up until Raven Shield. I wish we would get more shooters like that. But I think for some reason we won't, the game industry are not going that way..

yea, swat 5 could be very nice, i still remember when i first saw swat 3 at friends pc, i was like wow...finaly game like the movies or may i say like the real life with the police swat, and the intresting about that is that this game is still stand well today and we are talking here about 12 years i think.
i wish this genre will get more titles as well.

Community to SWAT 3 was great too. I remember many of the developers played the game online too. I played with the producer a few times which was cool. They really had their hearts into the game.
Yes it still stands pretty well today. The AI for your teammates are fantastic, I still say that SWAT3s AI are the only AI I could trust my life with. If I told them to clear a room, I could trust they would with caution and not getting killed. First time and only time I felt that in a game toward an AI mate.
