I work for a painting contractor, and i was gunna dump some dirty paint water out of a bucket in our materials area. I reached in to check for any tools and to loosen the sludge at the bottom so its easier to clean. Well i thought there was a shit rag in the bottom, so I thought cool, this will help loosen the grime, so im swishing away when it hit me, I pulled up "the rag" and found it was a dead rat. OMG That sucked. Its funny now, but I went apeshit att. It was huge.

LOL the screaming like a girl thing was pretty close to what happened. It was the startled factor more than anything else. I mean I squeezed this thing and cleaned a bucket with it. LOL. And eh, i just turned 39, Im a forman, and have good benefits. Juzz one of those things. First Ive seen though. But Im sure any plumber could descibe things to make us all puke.

What kinda shop you work in?
Im 30 and a fitter/welder btw |
Well, we got a big ole shop, but Ive been in the field entirely. I used to weld too, I liked it.
What sucks about painting though is that the diffrence between forman and laborer is razor thin, cept for wages. So I think alot about why Ive reached the top of my trade, but still gotta carry 10 gal of paint up 5 stories of steps every day, kinda stuff. Y know

Hell no it wasnt, so I had to back charge, T&M + rat and rabies shots.
