What, the GUN uses a sensor bar? Like the Wii? That sure is a step backwards...
The Wii system is fine by itself, but I expect a dead-on aim from a lightgun...

Well the problem with the lightgun is that it only works on CRT monitors. The old lightgun doesn't work on TFT, LCD and Plasma monitors, that's why they had to find a new system and used the wii system for it.
I've bought the game (asian version) of ebay now. I guess i'll know soon enough if it works

i think the accuracy we saw with game like house of the dead will be a thing of the past, unless someone comes up with some way to bounce back the signal from a plasma/lcd. I've been playing the wii versions of medal of honor and umbrella chronicles and they are a pain (okish, but not right). perhaps a 2 sensor bar approach would be the answer, one above and 1 below the screen, who knows?

I have a light gun for my pc that used sensor bars. IT dead on accurate as long as you stay the same distance away from the screen, but move back and forth and the things a POS.

Ok, so i received it today and i'm glas to announce that it works my couch is a bit lower than my screen, which makes the aiming hard. when i sit right in front of my monitor, it's pretty accurate.
Kind of a fun game, but i would actually have preferred a port of Time Crisis 2 with PS3 graphics.
Anyone know if PS2 rail shooters work on the PS3 with the gun?
