Me and my friend have connected wirelessly our two laptops. I have manually set up our IP addresses, we have the same subnet mask and all. I've installed Q3: Team arena, and I try to start a server but on the other laptop he can't see the server I've set up. What's the problem? I've enabled firewall exception, but nothing... It was same with CS...

Check the "Client Security" option on your wireless access point.
Mine (D-Link dwl2000+) Had an option called "Client Security", that basically stops other Wireless Clients connected through the same AP from seeing/interacting with each other (Good for net cafes).
Once i disabled that and rebooted the AP i was able to game/share from laptop to desktop.
Hope that helps.
