Inspired by the Confrontation figurines universe, Aarklash: Legacy is a tactical adventure game. The player will find himself at the heart of the intrigue, which will lead him from the lands of Alahan, to Acheron, and through Behemoth. The player will control a group of 4 characters and will be responsible for leading them into battle. In order to win these battles, a large range of powers will be at his disposal. These skills can be exploited and improved, thanks especially to the loot of objects and thanks to a skills tree. The social aspect is not to be forgotten: real bonds will be created between the hearoes as the game progress. Fu and action are waiting for you in Aarklash: Legacy!
Participate in an epic campaign, mixing adventure, tactical combats, guided with a rich scenario that will transport you into the fantastic world of Aarklash.
Thanks to the active pause system during the battles, elaborate the best tactics to succeed in your quest.
At any time in the game, compose and re-compose your team by choosing 4 characters between 8 available.
Throughout numerous and intense battles, make your heroes cooperate thanks to a lot of group aptitudes.
A skill tree will allow you to modify the skills of each of your characters. It will be up to you to fund the best combinations to take advantage of your group as much as possible.
Loot objects from your enemies and make your crew progress along the game.
This is te kind of game that really must have decent story and writing and lovely and well-developed gameworld to lure me in. Simple tactical battlesystem won't do. Let's hope it is not all about battles.
Tested it for a bit, you basically have this four man group with various specializations but they also have other advantages and disadvantages, you go through small arena like levels and progress the story as you combat groups of enemies.
I like the design of the combat group you are leading, especially the cybernetic monster creature, interesting appearance.
So far combat has been against simple swordsmen and archers with a bard thrown in whom could do a few special abilities.
The game has a autopause function and you can customize how it toggles but it's very handy for setting up which abilities to use and whom to attack, I'm not that good at it but it's probably essential at higher difficulty levels.
On the first or second map i fought an Chimeara at nearly the end of the map.
HIS STOMP INSTANT KILLED MY BUDDIES. And last save was from map start. Very Mad Men
Quite the tactical bugger. And for the actual boss fight, i had to use that gray little thing, located between the ears. Dammit, can't remember its name....Ah, yes! Brainzzz....Oh wait, different movie?! Me, confused!
I wouldn't really call it an RPG, it's a tactical game. It's good, though. I really like the way you have to synchronise abilities between squad members to win some of the tougher fights. And that's even on default dificulity setting (2/4). We don't get games actually forcing players to think very often nowadays
Ok bought it brilliant game so far but im only an hour in. RTwP combat system is very good, allows you to queue a bunch of actions in advance. That allows you to plan and execute some relatively complex strategies easily. Gfx are nice and clean very good artstyle and runs great , vo is ok especially considering cyanids trackrecord on this^^.

heard there are no weapons/armor loot
Yes but there are a whole bunch of different accessories like earrings, amulets, artifacts, etc and they all have different stats so it's nice to compare them and see which one will be the best for whom.

Tried the game and was pretty nice.. until a stupidly cheap fight with an elemental at the beginning (the one that you need to turn some statues). Meh.

That one was actually pretty easy
Spoiler:
You have to position your characters so that the shardlings heal YOU instead of the elemental. It's not that hard as the shardlings don't move and the trajectory of the healing spell is obvious at 50% health he destroys them and heals itself to full just burn him down then
I tried the game and uninstalled it somewhere at chapter two. The only thing that got me that "far" is that i wanted to have all eight heroes and check all their skills.
It's been fun at the start but i've found it extremely repetitive and eventually boring. Once i settled down with a party setup i've found the best, the game became uninteresting so i uninstalled it.
I thought due to the size of the game, there will be more to it.
