I need a bit of advice.. My son has tons of little games installed on his computer - he loves breakout clones, tetris and the usual platforms kids love..

His desktop looks like the icons have been on a breeding spree, so I need a handy little app that will enable him to launch his games a lot easier.. something to save him searching the deskop icons or trawling through the start menu..

Now I know there are loads out there.. but i'd like one thats easy to add games/apps to.. has seperate menus/areas for game, apps, music progs etc.. also if it looks colouful and snazzy thats a bonus.

So any of you people here know of such an app? thanks in advance

I use "Y'Z Dock".. it used to be a freeware app but apple sent the developer a C&D.. Since it has been recalled and it is illegal to host the file.. If you google around you can find it though..

I'm looking for a new application launcher, I'd like something that activates on middle mouse button press and provides a list of applications near the mouse cursor. There was a launcher called "orbit" which was cool, but it was very buggy and hadn't been updated in over a year.

Any thoughts?

Ive given that a try and its got a few good features rocket dock should have ie: multiple docks and the choice to have tabs - games/apps etc

however i cant for the life of me work out how to change the themes.. ive d/l a few new themes but cannot see how to impliment them.. cant be that hard Smile

also it takes an age to load and sems to have made my computer slow to a crawl Sad

uhm, quick question. rocketdock has multi-monitor support, but just on either monitor or one huge bar that crosses each.

is there a way to have 2 independent rocketdocks on each monitor?

2 instances of the application set to the different positions? Maybe creating 2 directories would allow multiple instances to have separate configurations..

Rocketdock does not support two rows. But in some near future the program will support multiple running instances (according to the Rocketdock forum)

if you find one like that let me know. I like the idea of icons showing up around the mouse cursor if button is pushed
