Right, I've been thinking of getting BF2142 - but I'd prefer to try the pirate copy first to see if I wanna spend cash on it or not. So now to my problem: How do I manage to get the game+latest patches to work in lan and what files do I need (files OR pirate version). Anyone able to help me out? And NO I have no use for any "don't get it, its crap" or similar comments - stick to the technical answers please. shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Right, still can't get it to work. I can't even enter any account to play LAN. I tried using the razor crack - but it just won't work can't find anything about how to get it to run in LAN without a proper copy on GCW shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I have the actual game and I used to play with crack so I dont have to use CD, but ever since the last update I couldn't find a crack that lets me play online without CD so maybe you should just try reinstalling the game without the patches, and use a v1.0 crack instead.

I tried that too - but it just wont work anymore even to start my own server. I can't get pass the first screen. This is odd as i have played it in the past. Not really interested to play it online btw. But thanks anyway shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
