Installed this release, but I'm have major problems with it. To begin with it was fine, just taking a little while to load, until just after "Red Letter Day", where it fails to load the next section/chapter of the game.

The computer doesn't crash, I can still move the mouse- but it just *wont* finish loading.

Whenever I try and load a save game from the menu I have the same problem. And it also happens if I try to make a new game.

Never had any problems with my old HL2 release, just on this one, I've been searching all over but can't find any solutions.

Specs:
AMD 64 3800+
2x 7900GT 256mb
2x1gb OCZ Twinned RAM
Running XP 64 bit.

Any idaes? Can't wait to get stuck back into this game! Laughing
Cheers
Matt

I have some other kind of problem with this release. I would like to know how to burn it because the .iso doesn't fit a DVD9. Is there any solution for that problem?

It's a problem @ valves side.. they fixed it already but you need to get new GCF files which are updated to the latest v.

The cake is a lie.
