1) Well, first of all I recommend the 3.90 M33-3 firmware. The newer ones aren't worth it right now.
2) Also, I use the M33 driver (it has been improved in the 3.90 firmware and now it's better than sony's)
3) I also have my psp overclocked at 333mhz, but a few games may have problems, try the Default clock rate if you run into trouble (I think Flatout freezes after finishing a stage)
4) I NEVER use compressed isos (.cso or other formats) or fucking rips
I ALWAYS go with pure .iso images
You should do the same if possible. |
1) Agree 2) Agree 3) Agree 4) Disagree, i always use cso's with very few problems, always start with untouched iso then use umdgen4 to remove update, optimize and then compress to cso. test thoroughly and if happy delete/archive the iso. Occasionally cso causes frame rate issues in which case i go for the iso but for most games i don't worry.
i wouldn't bother except i only have a 2gb mstick and cant be arsed to get a bigger one for the rare times i dig the psp out (holidays, visits to the parents and train/coach journeys)
