They're giving Vista for free, but they get to monitor what you do on your computer. For the improving of the Vist, of course  ... They're getting pathetic, Vista was a failure(in general) so they are giving it away? And not to mention their control... creepy

there not giving anything for free? i tried the stupid thing just to see what it is and i didnt get offered vista for free so they could see how i used it they just want you to either install there auto collection thing or periodically take a survey but i dont see them giving anything in return

in what way they are giving it ? electronic download or DVD send to you
neither way some scene people will get it and make a perfect way of activating it OR they are planing that some one will get it so they can monitor what he did to crack it

sorry, they were giving these:Vista Ultimate, Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007, Microsoft Money Plus Premium, Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2008, Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008. I think they closed the offer because apparently there was great response. The point is they would have complete access to your computer, the type, your personal files and all...

they aren't giving anything for free, I did that thing like 6 months ago and still haven't gotten anything, same as 6 of my friends.
