I have fought the urge to facebook and lost. It is cool tho, I got to get in touch with a bunch of people from the past. I think for the most part women use it to contact all their old friends to brag about their new baby or something.

The real question is what will that accomplish?
as long as they are not harassing you, and weren't
downright mean when you were together I don't
see the problem with keeping them on thier.
Who knows it may spark an old flame, or maintain
a special friendship?

I see these social networking sites as means for dating, no matter how arms length you look at it. The masses fly onto them, parade themselves and lay out information and pictures of themselves for everyone to see. I refuse to use social networking sites since I feel my 'perfect partner' (for better lack of a term) would never use one either.

Na, but that will probably be the time when I settle down.
My last year of life has kinda polluted my mind that relationships always come to an end somehow, so I don't fancy wasting my life with them.

I don't date off of face book. I never add anybody I don't know.
Yesterday my cousin (2nd) who I never talked to added me. She was a bitch 20 yrs ago but today she seems ok. It was good to catch up. I don't have to be a reg user to be able to keep contacts with these people. I have it set so my profile is pretty private.
Come on people, are you going to ex the ex on facebook???
I should of made a poll

I usually keep friendships with my ex's since they're the ones that get to know me the best so I tend to have the best memories with them and are more comfortable with em. I don't have any ex's on my face book but I do on myspace.
I only got a facebook cause ms pistolshrimp and waldo made me

There are some ex's that I would ex on facebook, others I would never do that too!
Regardless of privacy etc.

I don't have anything on my facebook page, literally it has no pictures, and nearly no apps,
I am not comfortable with people online knowing me unless they are friends, I have very few people on facebook as well.
Wow Waldo, you should edit their friend details to another cunt I dated! perhaps they will accept it?

Something the kids nowdays all seem to have.
As far as I understand, that book with faces also has some sorts of slave contracts that people willingly sign, to give away all their personal life and information to a internet corporation for all eternity .

I wish I never started it. All these people bragging about their kids. Big kid albums
I can't help but look and I don't think I should be looking. All I do is hurt myself. I did remove and got a phone call and added back again. I didn't want to seem petty but I guess I am.
I am going to smoke a big joint.

So you deleted the whole thing and then added it back? or just someone?
regardless you shouldn't have added them back if you didn't want too.
You always want to be honest, to yourself firstly, to everyone else afterwards.
What is so hurtful to you about facebook?

I deleted him. Because then you are just trolling in someones life. Besides he has a new son now and I really don't need to see any of that. It stops you from moving on.

So you believe that you are trolling in this guy's life by looking on facebook? an open community where he has chosen to publicly display things? I don't call that trolling, keeping tabs on him through friends and spies is trolling. You said you got a call because of it, he must really want you on there still?

So he called you 10 mins after you removed him? maybe he was on facebook?
regardless the contact was made, and for someone to call just because of that
has to have some meaning.

Kids arent all that big of a deal. The more i think about it, im not sure if i want kids. I'd rather just focus on the woman i marry and me. Lots of trips, indulgences etc
People make to big a deal about having kids imo. Plus, Im not the parental type. I can take kids in small doses - like spending a few hours with my niece and or nephews. But to have a child around all the time....cramps my life style. I know that sounds selfish, but its the truth

well, depending on who ended the relationship, it might be desperation as oppose to actual desire when it comes to meaning.
If I were that guy, i would have went to her house and talked to her to her face. Face to face is more serious and intimate you know? A phone call is to inpersonal for me

Desperation, is a meaning, that would mean that person didn't want it to end.
Interesting perception, one that I would normally agree with but since no one knows the circumstances it is invalid. This person could now be living far away, not know where she lives etc. Too many factors, and none of our business really, we shouldn't talk of anothers situation without permission on a public forum,
