I'll have an orgasm if Epic releases a patch for UT3 to remove the shadows flickering. That will mean I'll be buying UT3 before new year

What are you, just waiting for the 'next big thing' can't you just enjoy what you have?
I've already bought Forged Alliance and UT3 and I'm enjoying both immensely, also in 5 hours Eve Online: Trinity gets released which is the "last" 'big' thing I'm looking forward to.
But if you don't know what you want to look forward to then why are you wondering? I mean if there was anything worthwhile coming out that might interrest you then chances are you'd probably heard about it already.

Band of Bugs
NinjaBee has decided that the PC is the place to be and they have brought over Band of Bugs, their hit from the Xbox Live Arcade. Band of Bugs is a turn based strategy game that is set in the minute world of the insect world. Easy to pick up controls and smooth game play will appeal to the casual and hardcore audiences. It is basically the same game that was on the 360 version, so if you own it on the 360, you may not want to purchase it again. Look for it on December 3rd.
Universe at War: Earth Assault (read C&C 3 game style clone)
The long anticipated RTS from Sega, Universe at War puts Earth in the middle of a three way alien battle for universal domination. Every side has unique weapons and buildings and the combat in the demo is fast, with the AI putting up a hell of an intelligent fight. The game is a Live for Windows game which could be good, but has been more of a killer for XP gamers so far. Look for it on December 10th.
Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor
Now a couple of years old, GalCiv II has held up against time and is still giving gamers a run for their money with top notch strategy, exploration and trade. This new installment adds new technology that can be researched along with more spaceship customization. All the game play refinements that were present in Dark Avatar are included in this expansion. You can download it from Stardock’s website or get it in the store on December 12th.
PLUS :
PDC World Championship Darts 2008

I just wet my pants. Epic released beta 4 of the patch and it fixed the flickering shadows.

I'm with chiv, it doesn't make me sick, but I'm not a fan. I watched it for the first time last night, and it got SOOOO tired. They didn't even do it right, they didn't zoom, so it didn't have that documentary feel. It seemed like it was used to hide the fact the director had no eye for composition.
Coulda been such a wicked action movie.. actually it was a wicked action movie, it couldve been one of the best action movies, if shot by a pro. (Not saying I am, I'm just a critic )

They reworked the whole shell penetration system and all the sounds too, the standalone expansion is gona be much beter + they learned a lot from critics of theyr customers, actualy those are devs that care to theyr community. i place much hope in that release but it wont be released very soon. the part one is avalaible in russian and i suppose we will have to wait till they release part2 in russian too so we get the whole set in one standalone game
