|
 |
So I played this game for a while when it first came out (on a verbatim disc), and did some assassinations, found some view points and such. Now I can't continue though.
When I try to continue I still get to that room in the present with the two doctors. From here I can still walk around in the room with the guy, but when I lie down on the table and choose continue, I get to that loading screen where you can control the assassin. I have this screen for a few seconds, but then I get a pop-up saying that the disc is dirty or scratched (which it's not) and the Xbox takes me back to the dashboard.
I tried using another profile and start a new game up, and that worked just fine. I really don't get it, but it's a damn shame if I have to erase my save (seems like it's corrupted to me) and start all over.. Especially considering how many flags and stuff I had found..
Anyone else with this problem? Any suggestions? I don't have this problem with ANY other game, and the disc seems fine

Ignore MJuba some can't stand the game due to the religious content.
As for one profile working and another not, it must have something to do extra content and loading. Some have had problems with this gamne due to a corrupt version being released which still extracted to a nice iso. I suggest you probably have the 'slightly' corrupt version.

haha he got mad over what game Im playing? So would it bother him Im reading the da vinci code too?
Anyway, if I have this corrupt version, how would I know which version to get then? And I would be able to continue my save in this "real" version, right?
I just still dont get how the game worked perfectly fine until one day, and since then I havent been able to load my save (though it seems I can easily start all over, even on my own profile)
thanks..

I dont know I had the pal ver is had all kinds of errors and froze on me, I just got the NTSC ver and it runs flawless for me. I have a NTSC box, but I think the Pal ver was buggy/beta maybe.

i have the same problem.
When loading Memory Block 3, it gives me dirty disc error - every time.
I burned onto Philips DL media. Certified speed is said to be 8x.
all previous discs were burned onto philips dl media aswell, but with certified speed of 2.4x. no coasters with these ones.
might that be the problem?
