Also i read that XP has a 63% performace boost against vista.
And that vist64 runs worst of all OS.
Im really thinking of dual boot XP or 2000 now.
Just to be able to play this game as high as possible.

? copy pasted... dont know where it originally came from but worth a shot?

After much messing about in the very early hours of the morning, I finally worked out why the 64-bit version of Crysis would not run. For some reason in the Nvidia control panel when the V-Sync option is set to "Use the 3D application setting" and the Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration setting on "Multiple display performance mode" the 64-bit version would instantly lock up. Changing these settings to “Force On” and “Single display performance” allowed us to finally run the 64-bit version. The results were quite good...
As you can see the claims made by Crytek that the 64-bit version would allow for 10-15% more performance were very accurate. At 1440x900 we saw an 18% rise in performance favouring the 64-bit version while the 1680x1050 resolution also enjoyed an 18% increase in performance. There was even a 16% gain in performance at 1920x1200 which was most impressive. It would appear after all, that running Crysis in 64-bit mode when possible is very worthwhile indeed.

Crysis Vista x64 Fix-Razor1911

Razor 1911 proudly presents:

Crysis *Vista x64 Fix*

(C) Crytek/EA

Date: 2007-11-11 Game Type: Shooter

Size: 1x15MB Protection: SecuROM + Serial

Fix Notes

Here's a fix for the gambling minority of you crazy enough to use Vista, and

on top of that, to use the x64 version. The fix is an OS-dependent one and

not related to the protection in any way. Actually we played the whole game

before releasing it to make sure it was fine, although it's really hard to

test every possibly configuration out there

Unpack the .rar into your game dir and overwrite any existing files. Update

the shortcut on your desktop if you plan on running the 32-bit version

Of course we included a crack for the x64 binary as well
==========================================
&
Crysis.Win2k3.64bit.CrackFix-Enforcer

small crackfix for windows x64

tested on windows 2003 x64

Enjoy

Enforcer

Noone said its for Vista, its for win2k3 64bit and tested, and there was a chance it could work for vista 64 too

replace the exe in bin32 and load from there. this is a crack for the 32-bit version of the game but compatible with 64-bit Windows.

Crack made by user Neopsy, so thank him for this

THIS IS NOT A SCENE RELEASE, so nice try nforce lmfao

the 32-bit exe works fine but the 64-bit exe won't even load the intro movies before it crashes! I want my extra fps from 64-bit mode.
