Basically iv'e demuxed the audio/video, transcoded the audio, an when it come's to the video, Avisynth in Megui doe's not have H264 under it's supported file dropdown list, is there something i am missing, a codec, a dll, anything,

Yup i checked the log in Megui,
MeGUI Version: 0.2.6.1040
OS used: Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1, v.165
.Net Framework installed: 2.0.50727.1373

Thing is, that's what i mean i can't create a script because Megui's avisynth will not allow me to import the H264 file. an i want to know if there is a codec, filter or anything i'm missing, the script editor will let me import mkv, avi, mka, an vob i think, but not H264, which is strange. any clue?

yeah, it will not pick up the H264 file until i hit all file's then it still doesn't import, some error, dude, codec or filter wise what do you have installed, what version of megui, just need to get all the detail's so i can get this runnin,

Windwos xp pro sp2, FFDshow, Haali media splitter,Megui 0.2.6.1040 updated with latest codes, net framework from 1.0 to 3.0,Avisyinth 2.5. Do you have some kind of codec pack installed? What EXACT error are you getting?

You need to get rid of all codec packs. See here what you only need. http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=40091
Then try again. It might be a problem with VISTA but i dont think so. What kind of error do you get?

I'll un-install all the pack's an install the codec's on that thread, i accidentally deleted the H264 file when it wasn't being recognise, but i'm getting it back now, it's almost done, if after i install everything, an still no go, i'll post the error.

I see that the latest is ffdshow_rev1642_20071126_xxl.exe, so get that. |

From the look's of thing's you know what i would need in a codec for avisynth, i just got a program called Codec_sniper, i could get a screen shot, which will show the codec's i have installed, therefore you might be able to find the cultrip?

i just tried playing the H264 file in Media Player Classic that you told me to use, an it said it cannot render the file? missing codec, would that also stop avisynth from being able to import it?
