fashion designer... shouldnt this be merged with the gay villa thread, seeing as this game is for all intents and purposes just an "add-on" for that game? Razz

I think all the jokes about 3D Gay Villa in comparison to this game are a bit off. Granted, this isn't the newest hyped shooter, but I am pretty sure that there is an audience for it. If I had a twelve year old girl instead of a five year old boy I am certain she would be happy to play this game.

So... while we (being mostly male grownups) have no use for this game, our families might. It's good to see that there is alternatives to having your daughter play Manhunt, when all she really cares about is horses, fashion and boygroups. Those girls will still have plenty of time to grow to be the next Jenni.

dont you feel giving sissy games like this to young girls only further perpetuates the negative stereotypical image that girl gamers must continue to fight against?

Not if that's what they want to play. One of the things that the feminist movement has seemed to have forgotten in the past few decades is that freedom to choose your own lifestyle includes the freedom to be a sissy who likes shopping and clothes and hates violence and intellectual pursuits. If there are girls who like the idea of this game, then hell yes they should be able to play it. And considering the aforementioned popularity of The Sims, I'm betting there are plenty of girls who would play this game.

well everyone, not just girls, should be forcefully educated (with a stick if need be) that the sims is NOT an acceptable game for ANYONE to play.
EVER.

you think its acceptable and 'cool' to play a LIFE simulation game on the computer? where you 'pretend' to get a job, 'pretend' to earn money to buy things, and 'pretend' to have a girlfriend?

dude, thats fuckin sad and pathetic in every possible way.
