Ok so I got this buddy of mine, been friends for years, fucking blew me off again for the 2nd time for his god damn computer.
First time was like 4 months ago he was supposed to come over and chill but said he wanted to get some food, hour later I get a hold of him and ask him what's going on. HE JUST NOW put the damn food in oven or whatever. So I tell him to get a hold of me when he's done, I wasn't about to ask him again when he's coming. Never calls, ask him the next day wtf happened and said he got caught up in World of Warcraft. Being as I hate that game more than President Bush I stopped talking to him for a couple months.
Now, last night I asked him to bring his 360 over so I could play some boxing and he can give COD4 a run and he says "maybe, well, more like probably, I got nothing going on." Tell him unless he's got some chick flashing tits at him whether it be in person or on a screen he has no excuse not to. He says ok, but wants to get some food. He stays online and constantly sending me stupid video links and shit, not eating food. He messages me while im playing and see that he says he's gunna go make some food. Well and hour later still no word and I give up and say the hell with it and he messages me like an hour and half later asking if I still wanted to hang out so I told him no, and went back to my game.
Is there like some mind state where your that fucking lazy that you'd rather sit on your ass in front of your computer sending people stupid ass links than go hang out with a friend you've known?
I'm seriously considering just telling him to go to hell and not talking to him anymore. I mean it pissed me off beyond reason when he blew me off for fuckin WOW but now he does it again and this time isn't even doing anything, just being fuckin lazy. I told him off for it too, was bullshit to pull that on someone. I coulda/woulda went to his house but it's such a trashed pigsty (and that's an understatement, you literally have to step over trash all over the place, his whole room is nothing but garbage and rotting food) that's not even worth being over there cause you can't find a spot to sit down and get comfortable.

A friend of me kinda is like that, and no it didnt help when he started to play WoW :\
God damn annoying, and also have to wait for him to get done with instances etc...

i have the same problem my friend wants some anime off of me so i say to come over so he can drag some anime on to his computer and he has put it off like 3 times now with a excuse called maybe not today or something else he never really tells me what is going on i mean i would like a decent answer

I have a friend called Lee who is EXACTLY like your buddy, and i mean down to the last point.
I think WoW attracts lazy people, i mean it gives them an opportunity to forget they have a real life and they can live a virtual one which is far more eventful than their current one so they get drawn in. This guy literally lives on the game, I HEARD that he attended a "funeral" on WoW, i mean cmon, thats one step away from "i put on my robe and wizard hat..." (see bash.org for more)? right?
I fear for his mental and physical health, he was a good friend but now hes turned into a sloth, and a WoWaholic.
They should set up a line like "MMORPGaholics anonymous" to help these poor bastards, I mean the guy could barely get a GF or even an invite to leave the house before he started playing WoW, now he has no chance in hell of getting layed ever again.
PS. His second name is Gillum, my girlfriend now refers to him as Gollum, post WoW.

Thing is though, he wont ever move his lazy ass, because blizzard are milking his udders whilst simultaneously and secretly dosing him with Crack Cocaine via his ass as he plays, so he gets withdrawal symptoms from leaving the comp. Him along with all the other WoWaholics.

I have a friend that has become just this... Instead of hanging out with the rest of us he stays home playing games and whatnot.
Me and my friends are always trying to get him to tag along when getting a beer, hanging out and whatever we do... He never follows anymore. Just sits at home playing games.

You know what you do with people like that? Let them live their lives as they please. You are obviously putting yourself in a healthier position Pshycologically/Physically, let him realize how Fat/Lazy/Retarded/Unproductive he is.
Everyone wakes up from the "Lingering" life style at one point.

oh he knows he's lazy. He just doesn't find it "bogus" when he blows people off like this. I told him what bullshit it was that he blew me off for WoW the first time and he just shrugged it off and said "not like you ever blew me off" referring to the time I went to bed instead of hanging out cause I was tired as hell.
So all in all, the hell with him. |
