Nowdays they put a lot of reality shows and generally the shows are getting shittier everyday so I almost dont watch it from 2001.

Those two shows in particular are MTV staged "reality" shows ... really MTV is one of the worst TV network in the US, nothing but fake reality bullshit (laguna beach, the hills etc etc)

I like mythbusters and the New show Dexter. The serial killer who kills other killers.
I like the home improvement shows like homes on Homes but I think that is Canadian.
MTV I flip right past. Seems like it is for kids. No content and flashy colors.

I watch star trek reruns (all star treks series), cheers and fraiser reruns, Stargate SG1 reruns (never fancied Stargate: Atlantis too much) and Lost.
Other than that, i watch the movie channels (i have atleast 10 or so of em).

I've got basically every channel you can get in sweden but i barely ever watch em, probably cause i dont have HD-channels and im getting spoiled with downloaded HD series and movies.
But anyways the one thing that makes me get seriously, actually, for real - pissed is when i see any of the redneck american talkshows (jenny jones, ricky lake etc) AND my sweet sixteen. Because the whole idea behind those shows is to get people pissed off. Whether it's by showing morons debating their sex affairs with their brothers and getting slammed in the face with chairs or by showing spoiled kids whose parents should really consider putting a bullet in between their eyes, after doing the same to their shitty children.
It's just terrible entertainment, entertainment for me is something that should make you happy or it should make you think. Thats basically it. Whenever it makes you pissed off it really isn't entertainment anymore.

I rather download TV series, get them faster (unless you live in USA) and don't have to waste half your life watching commercials.
@PistolShrimp: yeah, MTV is really braindead. You don't get any smarter by watching TV series unless its Discovery channel or National Geographic. But seems like MTV make programs to make teenagers brainwashed and stupid.
