hi im turning to the wii experts here i know this question have been asked afew times already but maybe things have updated/changed. whats the best wii mod chip/card to buy? does it matter what wii i get? is the installation "easy"? thanks alot in advance

i dunno, heard the wiinja v2 is pretty good tho or the d2c which is the newer one

I heard that you can only use the d2c on the new Wii consoles, and that it has quite some problems. How can you see which version of the Wii is in the box? Unless you have or buy an older 2nd hand Wii (@ pre July) you will get a D2C model. The D2C model can only be chipped with the D2CKey ATM. Afaik theres nothing wrong with the d2ckey and it was the only chip that could run Mario Galaxy without updates, but it is on the highest end of the scale when it comes to diffulculty of install... 31 wires, of which 29 are chip leg solders.
