no, i dont wish. i hope they never make a gf2... they'll fuck it up. this is a perfect one-off standalone classic, and im glad they left it alone.

I imagine that if they made GF2, proper care would be taken by LucasArts with the license Smile

Lucas Arts right now is made of a bunch of fuckwits who wouldn't know a good game if it raped their mother, tortured their father and pissed in the aquarium.

Seriously, they chased Steve Purcell away, forcing him to dump Sam & Max 2 which was 90+% finished - if you see how none of the talent that gave us Monkey Island, Full Throttle, etc. is still there, there's zero chance of GF2 being any good.

Nope, and I doubt there will ever be made one.
But IF they decide to make on, I hope they don't make it so that it takes place after GF. Maybe it could take place between year 1 and 2, where you could play someone who ends up at Manny's place (where Manny needs to help the player or something) Smile

If you want to finish it you'll need a patch, without it you cant finish the elevator puzzle and maybe some other too (unless you still have Pentium 90 which i guess you dont have Wink )

What would be even cooler is a film. It's perfect for cinema. The main reason I truly enjoy it is for the spoken dialogue.

LucasArts should never even think of making a sequel to Grim Fandango. Seriously, did you see ?

Now, if Tim Schafer and Double Fine (his current company) could somehow aquire the rights to GF and do a sequel on their own, that'd be a different story...but it'll never ever happen.
