Fuuuck! Im so goddamn annoyed!

Is CS3 not supposed to work on Vista? Okay, Photoshop works, but damn..

I cant drag and drop files from Illustrator to PS, illustrator crashes.

I cant import .ai files to Flash, it crashes.

I can´t drag and drop vectors from Illustrator to Flash, Illustrator crashes.

Does anyone have ANY IDEA how to solve this? Don´t tell me i have to go back to XP for fucking CS3...

um :/ thats a bit weird, works fine on my vista install at home, but i dont use my pc for work anymore. MacPro at work and an old G4 at home.

If you have the money, or get paid for a project soon, buy a mac, you will not regret it working in the creative industry. 9 months ago i was dead against them, but for creatives they are just better.

sorry i couldnt be of more help, maybe try a reinstall...

which rls are you using

Im using the MAGNiTUDE Master Collection release..

ive been using PCs for nearly 11 years for design, but 8 months on a mac has completely changed me, plus its not just whether they look good, my macpro at work has 16gb of ram and runs beautifully, untill today where im working with a 65 page document full of fucking pictures and pdfs and bollocks like that... totalling probably 1gb, but hell, i also have filled the hard drive so there is no scratch disk space.

i didnt have any problems with the Design Collection. dyu really need the Master Collection, what dyu need from it thats so important, granted you have premiere, encore, after effects, soundbooth etc but is it necessary.

This release wasn't final and was full of bugged betas, get the ADOBE.CS3.MASTER.COLLECTION.CORPORATE.FINAL-ISO release (~3.3GB, it has all the apps excepted Adobe ULtra CS3, Adobe OnLocation CS3, samples and tutorials discs), uninstall all adobe apps, use the "Adobe CS3 clean script", install the final one. I have no vista (x64) specific troubles using up-to-date dreamweaver, fireworks, illustrator, photoshop extended...

Im close to killing someone right about now..

I uninstalled the MAGNiTUDE CS3-suite, ran the Clean scipt, installed the Corp. final release.

Now, Photoshop is slow as motherfucking hell! Creating a document (no matter how small) takes freakin 10 seconds. Switching tools takes around 5 seconds!

And no, it isnt the network-printer issue, since i have no printer at all.

Its obvious this isnt something PC-related, performance wise. Its Photoshop fucking with me. Illustrator seems to work as it should though..

I have the same problem with InDesign on mac, it gets really bogged down for some reason, what happens when you restart PS. doing that with ID fixed it for me.

Haha, the disk Photoshop is installed on has 10 gigs free, i havent set any other scratchdisks at the moment.. but i KNOW it isnt that, this is a bug of some sort, i mean you really have to try it yourself to see how slow the response-time is..

I mean, open Photoshop, and then the first thing you do is create a 10x10 px document.. takes like 10-15 seconds.. switching tools as mentioned, takes a few seconds to even react..
