Well actually there IS a way to change the console region (not the game disc itself though).. but there is no user friendly way of changing the region yet. It is possible to change to US/JAP/PAL if you have the right tools...

I usually just check http://www.gamespot.com/newthisweek.html and cycle through the weeks to see what's coming out soon.
There's probably a better website but this has worked pretty well for me.
