Cant even merge 2 partitions and format it into 1 partition for 250gb!

Tried partition Magic 8 - doesnt recognize drive as 2 partitions
Partition Commander 10 - sees it as 2 drives - but says 'invalid partition' use repair tool. What repair tool - none exists..Trash!

So, I need to just format this 250GB drive!! Right now its runnign as my 3hd and 2 partitions. I already formatted both partitions..

Magic, commander and all these other softwares are such such trash!!!

My last resort is to pull apart the pc - only connect this hd - run winXP cd - and delete partition. Why do I have to do all this just to format a 2 partition drive into 1..

that's why I don't use partitions, I just buy a separate HD for shit. Have an HD for my installed games, HD for my OS, HD for my Storage. A lot less hassle

That's a lot of HD's/$, I'll take any unforseen trouble ahead with partitions over buying 15 HD's haha.

couldnt you have just gone into the disk management settings in windows, deleted each partition, then formatted? i mean if windows recognises that there is a partition to begin with, then it wont have any problems removing it? just did that yesterday on an old pc and worked fine.

nah, HD's are cheap off of newegg, and I got my OS on a 40 gig since I don't use a lot of software and the games are on an 80gig SATA and my storage is a 500 gig

plus my case is easy to install new drives, just use the tray screws included with the case then slide and lock the drive in.

lol it's a lian li so if you want it, you'll be dishing out some money but radiates heat like no case I've seen. The wheels may seem dumb untill you actually have the case, it's not cheap metal AT ALL, it's all thick brushed alunimum. Even the pci slot covers are high quality. Also uses a reverse motherboard setup so the PCI slots are at the top making it easier to get to shit Theres 3 different ones.

LIAN LI PC-V1000BPLUSII ($200)

LIAN LI PC-V1200Bplus II($230)

LIAN LI PC-V2000Bplus II(gunna be buying this one soon, hell of a lot bigger)($279)

Damn, I've always been stingy about cases. My logic was to NEVER spend over $100 on a case, that thing costs a fortune. Most of the price is probably build quality though since Lian Li's are bulletproof.

eh they way I see it with computers, if your going to build a good rig, have a case that reflects what you got, go big or go home. I don't like that cheap normal alunimum crap that bends with lil effort, there isn't anything in this case that I wouldn't have to use my strenth to bend or break. I punched the living hell out of this case as I didn't want to hit my walls, not a single dent..tho I bruised my knuckles and lost some skin lol.

The design radiates heat nicely as well. they little holes disperse heat and theres also a bunch at the bottom of the case that isnt' really shown. I like resting my feet on it during the winter cause you can feel it coming up from the top and is nice and warm Smile But hey, some people like cases that are just good enough to hold their stuff, others like to buy quality. The HD trays and the reverse MB design are definatly worth the money to me. Especially the size

I like free cases the best. Using Ultra Wizard Blue Midtower case - free after rebates. Installed free ultra-v 500W ps too. All working great. I too rather not spend much money (if any at all)..I normally dont need to take case apart too often.
