Hey there Just bought a used fat PS2 50004 (v10 i guess) with a chip. I think it's ripper 3.1 (so the seller tells me), but it boots as matrix infinity 1.21. I googled some and learned that some rippers were with infinity bios. Is that true? Anyway - i cant boot psx game backups! Written on good cd's with 16x speed (i cant burn it slower!). I dont know what to do

let me get this straight u got ps2 just to play ps1 games? u could easily emulate them on pc, no burning required and besides they will look 10x better

Naaah, but IMO console games should be played on a console.

So my questions still stand? What about those psx games and what about ripper 3.1 "being" infinity (v1.21)?
