I don't think I've ever seen a game that had a press release like this one (you know, where it mentions things like "3D graphics," "real voice acting," and other things that should be standard in 2007 as if they were new and amazing) turn out to be any good, but here's hoping. The space sim is a genre that should really be revived.

I made a mistake buying this like a month or so from gamersgate.iirc the controls were quite annoying(compared to other space sims),but that's all I remember of it.I just tried it,didn't like it and forgot about it. Might give it a shot again someday.

Great mini review,eh? Very Happy

500GB HDDs are very cheap these days. 90€ for a 500GB is really affordable. Wink

this game is a piece of crap.
Granted, it's better than what you could make by yourself in 1 week, but maybe, if you had 2 weeks, you could have made a better game

So finally made space and installed this game

this Game is a Arcade spade shooter with some rpg elements (exp when you kill) , the story is mission driven - no free roaming trough space only pick a missions, hear the captain talk about it , then fly to the battle zone and kill something .
To this place this game looks nice , even great but when you start the fight with few of those baddies you finally awake from the hope that this game is great and see the crapness of it - no cross hair , cockpit view is awful , no targeting system , there are 4 camera views and they are so crappy placed that you see nothing but your space shit...ahm ship go boom

Would i play it , hell no , if they would fix the fighting system then yes but for now tis game is another of those space shooter clones that you see today - If someone likes this sort of games genre (like me) then i recomend "Tarr Chronicles" now this game shows HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE

Yep, Tarr Chronicles owns, highly recommended. Also it's a cool break from all the bloated 7gb dvd9 games.
