Okay if anyone has seen The World at War they'll know its unsurpassed for giving the facts of World War Two. But its always missed the humanity of the whole affair.
I've been watching Ken Burns The War.
My god it really brings to life what the war really means to the average man on the street.
Watch it if given the chance. Poignant to say the least.

Yea I think this fits in the Movies & TV Sparks category better.
Ontopic, I haven't watched it but I like ww2 stuff, so I'll give it a go, sounds good.
