How do I configure DS to automatically stop whenever I start a full screen game or application? It's sort of a serious performance hit for my 6300...idling jumped from under 4% to around 10%...

Thanks.

Afair DreamScene already does so automatically.
If you installed the "preview" version and stardock's deskscapes maybe uninstall both and redownload the DreamScene "final" version and its updates thru windows update.
If it had any performance hit i would simply disable it, i guess i could survive. Wink

Okay, thanks. It's a performance hit only when gaming, otherwise it's not noticeable for me and spices up my desktop quite nicely. Smile

Just like AERO shuts down automatically, Dreamscene shuts down too.
