Is deathrace 2000 the original?
That movie was brutal and definetly one of Stalones better.

im sure this is a 'reimagined' version of dr2k, but yeah thats the one im thinking of. that film was great... the kinda thing id LOVE to see paul verhoeven remake (robocop, total recall, starship troopers) - its got that satirical edge too it that was perfect for verhoevan... not that the film NEEDS a remake... it was fricken great as it was... wheeling the elderly hospital patients out onto the road for frankenstein.. awesome

yeah hes been sucking out loud lately... he hasnt done anything good since starship troopers. now hes doing nothing but cruddy old crappy drama rubbish. not saying drama films suck, but its such a waste of his massive talent. |

Well... i have yet to see anything I liked Statham in besides "Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels". Not a very big Statham fan at all. Dungeon Siege was kinda like the time I got drunk on cheap wine as a kid... now even seeing it makes me feel sick inside.

I can't understand how people like movies like this shit or any action movie really. It's the same old shit over and over again. Now I've never seen this movie but I can guess the ending which is 99% likely to be correct. Hero has a rough time, hero improves and starts kicking ass, hero once again has rough time and is injured or handicapped in some form of way, Hero then overcomes and wins, The bad guys either are killed or any remaining (if any) are punished.
It's the same shit no matter what sub par storyline they choose to give it.

Just finished watching it. Not that bad, I was expecting worse. It's a good action flick, that gets you entertained.
