under vista it doesn't want to seem to work. everything stays greyed and status says inititializing. Using the latest one, everything else seems to work.
I have my IE security at high and newsleecher works fine except supersearch. Moment I set security to medium, search works but then something in newsleecher phones home and I get a message that my copy of newsleecher is unregistered and it shuts down. So I run it with security on high and without supersearch and besides keeping my IE settings on medium all the time is not an option. It could be something else in the security settings besides ActiveX. Not very bothered about supersearch so haven't tracked down what exactly it is in the settings that newsleecher needs for it to work.
