|
 |
Good friend of mine is panicking tonight , since he needs his rig to work with .
He installed Vista 90 days ago with some random key , not using any sort of activation crack .
today a screen appeared to activate either over phone or internet , when clicking internet his firefox opens , and thats the only program he can use .
Now i am not very familiar with Vista , is there anyway to apply a crack/fake activation after the 90 days are passed , with only able to run firefox ?
thanks for the help in advance

Dunno with firefox but with internet explorer i was able to run the command prompt in the limited mode (typing "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe" or "file:///C:/WINDOWS/system32/cmd.exe" in the address bar) to change the date to 2099 (using "date"), then rearming vista (using "slmgr -rearm"), then setting the date back to 2007 (using "date"), after that you use the timerstop crack or another one.
Maybe try to go in safe mode -afair it was possible- before that and uninstall firefox from there.

Ok.. friend is having problem with Vista once again.
He installed SP1 and used the following crack:
" Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) Activation Crack (16659) "
It worked for a while, and then not too long after, it started saying that he needed to activate again. Now he tried to apply the crack again and had no luck. He is now stuck at the actvation screen and cannot use his vista.
Help?

I haven't installed SP1 however i suppose he should be able to uninstall it from safe mode.
Then just tell him to wait for the final release, no need to rush killing your install.
Also the latest build is 17128.
