I have the Ultra V series #ULT31584 power supply.
Says it has 1 PCI Express connector. It is 6 pin (3 on top/3 on bottom) female.

Well, my mobo pci-express slot is a 4 pin molex male.
My Geforce 8600gt has also same 4 pin molex male for pci-express.

So, any explanation for this? Does my PS have some kind of old form of pci-express not used anymore?

The 8600GT (Non GTS version) doesnt require additional power but rather gets all from the mobo, so once you connect the mobo 24 pin pwer and possilby another 4 pin for cpu youll be sorted Wink The 4 pin molex connector on the board isnt really neccesary so dont bother with it
