1) Remove the CS3 application:
2) Download and run the Adobe CS3Clean Script from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs3clean.html.
3) Locate and remove any remaining cache.db files:
• On Windows XP and Windows Vista, the cache.db file is located in Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache
• On Mac OS X, the cache.db file is located in Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache
Important: After you delete the cache.db file, you must re-enter the serial numbers for your other existing Adobe products.
4) Reinstall the Adobe CS3 Suite or stand-alone application and enter the serial number from your retail version.
**** Note that you might wanna, first, try to remove the cache.db file and reinsert the serial. It might solve the problem on the spot without doing all the above mentioned steps.

Nope did not do it. I have a standalone version of Premiere CS3. I get a screen telling me that the file that contained the serial was removed and please put in the serial again etc etc. I Use the keygen and after that i get the same "License Expired".
I am now dling the full CS3 Master collection (1h or so left) will do a clean sweep after that. Also the Adobe CS3Clean does not work as it says "the utility is not installed" etc.

Try deactivating Premiere first from the help menu. Then reinstall.
If you can't get into the program though, all that's left for you is the master collection.

Just installed the CS3 Master Collection and all is well
Took me a while to deinstall all the Adobe apps I had installed, also added some stuff I did not have before, like After Effects. Brilliant collection actually.

Actually, for me I think the license problem was related to me previously having ADOBE.CS3.WEB.PREMIUM-MAGNiTUDE and ADOBE.CS3.DESIGN.PREMIUM-MAGNiTUDE installed. It may be that they are both beta's and possibly some remnant of those previous installs remained and borked both my previous attempts running ADOBE.CS3.PRODUCTION.PREMIUM.MULTILANGUAGE.RETAIL-ISO or ADOBE.CS3.MASTER.COLLECTION.CORPORATE.FINAL-ISO resulting in that license error.
For me, doing what I mentioned previously has definitely corrected whatever the fault was.

I don't have a single adobe application installed since my last windows install (besides acro reader) so I'm guessing I won't have a problem ...

I got the Production Premium a while ago and it expired on me as well, so now I got like 7 DVDs of the old production premium...
So anyway, I removed all the CS3 stuff, got myself the master collection as it has everything I need and it works great. However.....
The Master Collection is english only, which is not a problem for me, but a friend of mine would like to try out the CS3 stuff but he's used to working in a german version of the program as that's what he's gotta use at work on his mac. The Production Premium is multilanguage so that's the way to go for him.
So here comes a question:
Can you use the magnitute production premium with the keygen from from the new fully working ISO release? Or do I have to redownload 7 DVDs now?
I believe what Exon explained above means that it works, but I thought I'd ask again just to be sure.

Is the ADOBE.CS3.MASTER.COLLECTION.CORPORATE.FINAL-ISO only 1 DVD image now? I have been running the Magnitude version on Vista just fine, but it does not allow me to update the products so I need the real corporate version.

Thanks, both of you. I am so sick of mounting 4 DVDs to install crap.
