I really don't know where to put this, hardware or software problem... I want to listen to my music, add them to now playing list, and then pow!! the music sounds like it has been speed up, voices pitch is way too high! At first I thought it was windows media player(you know how you can speed songs up), but that was fine! So I tried in other music players but it's the same! What could be wrong? My comp is actin' a bit strange lately, but when I go to task manager everything seems to be fine (processor isn't overcrowded with proceses, memory usage is low). I want my music!!!! Sad

I doubt that... when I want to play gp5 files (guitar pro files), the pitch is way too high, so it is not just in the music...

The probable cause would be the sound card then, sound card drivers to be exact. Try updating? Weird problem tho, never seen anything like that.

My friend's old pentium 3 does this, he usually just restarts it a few times to fix it.
