If you don't have the minimum and can't play the game, don't come in here whining about your shitty hardware.

Medal of Honor: Airborne PC Minimum Requirements
Code:

    * Operating System: Windows XP SP2
    * Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP 2800+
    * Memory: 1GB RAM
    * Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce 6600GT (Some slower GPUs with higher model number's also not recommended.) ATI Radeon X1300PRO
    * Video Card Memory: 128MB RAM

    * Operating System: Windows Vista
    * Processor: 3.0 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 3800+
    * Memory: 1GB RAM

If you experience crashes at the end of the installation, make sure you have the Windows Firewall enabled before you start the installation!

EA is getting raped with installation issues lol....if any of you find a new work around in this heap that allows you to install it let me know so I can update first post.

http://forums.ea.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=276088&tstart=0

Give these a try

-Copying the disc contents to your hard drive and installing from there.

-if you have an Ageia driver newer than 7.07.09, MoHA will not install from the DVD, or from anywhere else, for that matter. Uninstall the Ageia driver that you have and just let the game install the Ageia diver that it came with. As it seems, any Ageia driver newer than 7.07.09 will not let MoHA install as it should. Game is running fine now.

This game is strange performance-wise (the demo that is, don't know about the full). On various forums, people with relatively mid-to-high-end PCs, with 7800/7900 cards would suffer from lower framerates, while 7600 dudes will have better framerates (relatively). Now, there's no doubt that the game is optimized very well for 8600/8800 cards, so I wonder why it has those issues with the 7800/7900 cards.
Maybe some bug in the demo.

Yeah, I know, not all 7900 were affected. Maybe it's some kinds of hw combination that was causing the issues.

not a bug in the demo , the fault here takes Nvidia with they shitty beta drivers , the older 94.24 drivers give more performance to the unreal 3 engine then the new specially made by Nvidia 163.44 that where released to boost up the performance in Bioshock *thats also uses the unreal 3 engine*

Don't know dude, with the 163 drivers I even got a higher framerate in Vegas (with less hickups), and that should be saying a lot.

The installer probably tries to add the game to the allowed apps of WF, and if that fails, BOOM, the entire install fails. Laughing Leave it to EA to ruin THE BEST WW2 GAME with a crappy installer lol.

EA games allways had a crapy installer , i was allways forced to use the windows 2000 compability mode to make them WORK - those installers couldn`t detect dx9c , they would only find it in win2000 compability mode Laughing

anyways nice to see a EA game with a .CAB installer and not a installer with Zip files in Store mode that didn`t compress shit Razz and made them ultra big

What? This game REQUIRES SP2 for WinXP?! Oh, then I can quit my DL - it wont work.
I tried installing SP2 on my system long time ago, but after I did that, my machine crashes with a bluescreen after the WinXP logo (and restarts at once so that I cant even read which driver or dll causes the crash) . Booting up in safe mode works and I could remove SP2 and WindowsXP worked again... Well, I presume there is no workaround, is it? Hm, have to skip this one Crying or Very sad maybe with a new machine next year and Vista.... Sad

lol I can say mabye about 80% of us who are using XP are using SP2, so you either got a shitty release or fucked something up. Don't install SP2 as a patch, get an XP Pro SP2 install disk

mmm read yellow text in first post and give that a try. if that doesn't work then no idea. Leo discovered the installation screws up at the end if you don't have windows firewall activated. Also make sure your on SP2
