lol, i can just imagine what price it would be, especially in my country . Verbatim DL Silver is 3 euros here, DL RW will be at least 10-15 euros at least.

I would do that... I rarely play games over.
Bought a 5 pack Vebs... god damn expensive here. Found them cheaper after some searching, but at this webshop you get a free candy when you buy stuff!!2
So if the price wont be to fucking high, i would rather have 2-3 rewritable.

Mortibus U got the point, and DL is very very expensive, i agree with that too . I mean, c'mon, HD DVD and Blue Ray is already here, cut the price for DL at least 20%

the only reason for that is 360 i'm telling ya
i mean even blue-ray has RW and it's practically new format, where is DL is more than 2 years old almost at the same price it was in the beginning
question is will u need new burner for that or old ones that can burn DL's can do the trick with simple fw update

Well tbh, I have tried a few different kinds of discs for my burner & xbox 360 combo and the only ones I had no problems with were the verbatims. I can't tell you why but that's just how it is.

I had some very bad experiences with Verbatims in the last couple of years. My PS2 and Xbox can't read them but for Xbox 360 they are ok. Sometimes I have choppy movies, DREs or strange noises but not very often. I'm quite sure though that there are some DLs which are at least as good as Verbatims if not better. I guess it always depends on your drive.
