|
 |
ok, here is my story
bought a laptop with windows vista on. Djeez what a kiddie OS. are you sure yes yes yes yes, installing, are you sure yes yes yes. Meh whatever
there was something called nero scout on it. Whatever it does, i found a method to disable it. But it kept popping 'nero scout was closed with errors blabablbal". So i was fed up with it. and i uninstalled nero.
nero had become sh*t anyway. I just want to burn a cd/dvd. Now there are Xpress windows and i dunno what all. A mediaplayer, that pops up all the time i play a divx.
And im 22. i have prolly wasted 2-3 full years of my life fixing such stupid pc problems, and i m sick of fixing those stupid, time consuming problems.
plz DR PHIL HELP ME: WHAT IS THE BEST FREE CD BURNING PRORAM I CAN USE !!!

Nero scout is garbage. You can disable it, but keep the nero part for burning still installed. Ive been using nero for many years. #1 choice. I dont know what to recommend for free burning besides one built into windows. I suggest you dump vista, install xp, then install a clean copy of nero - and uncheck box to remove scout.

Maybe try this one: http://www.cdburnerxp.se/download.php
I haven't tried it, it seems to have limitations (double-layer dvds, burning video-DVDs is limited) but it is well rated on softpedia...
The problem is that outside nero you may have to use several apps to burn different kinds of content on different media.

Good to see that they finally are working a little more serious on CDBurnerXP, used to love that app.
I use ImageBurn for almost everything (X360 games, DVD movies, Data discs, xbox games, pc games, pc dvd's). Get it here: http://www.imgburn.com/

You can't, that's why it's called IMGburn.

Here's how to do it:
Choose Mode -> Build
Press the icon with the description "Switch to device output"
add your files and you're good to go...
Or even better, use google to find it...

IMGBurn. Best CD/DVD burning util.
To burn a data disk, select Mode -> Build. Now you can either save the ISO or burn it directly to disk.

I have the same problem , but i look for a good software that after the burn makes a data verification (and a bloody good one not this wapi tapi ToC check like in gay nero)if the burn is ok - just like in Nero
But the trouble with this dumb crap nero is when so data is bad he checks it as ok , burning the ToC that shows the data but when you try to open it its got a friking error

Ashampoo rules.
Nero really disappointed me, so I switched.
