Jac Schaeffer, one of the scribes behind Marvel’s upcoming Captain Marvel movie, has been tapped to run point on the series that will focus on the two characters that are integral members of the Avengers. She will pen the pilot and executive produce, say sources.
Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to star in the series, reprising the roles they originated on the big screen.
I liked them together in the movies.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."

"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."

There’s quite a few other comic books that we’re pulling from and it’s going to be Wanda and the Vision, and I think at the Disney+ launch chat, they showed a photo of us in the ’50s,” Olsen says.
“Paul [Bettany] and I are really excited. They have a great group of writers. I think it’s going to be a total of six hours,” she continues. Olsen also says shooting would begin in the fall.

Feige offered the latest on Marvel Studios' WandaVision, a Disney+ original series with Paul Bettany reprising the role of Vision and Elizabeth Olsen returning to the role of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.
Bettany and Olsen were joined on stage by MCU newcomer Teyonah Parris. Feige announced that Parris will be playing the grown-up version of Monica Rambeau, who was introduced to audiences in Marvel Studios' Captain Marvel.
Marvel Studios' WandaVision premieres on Disney+ in the spring of 2021.
The stars and creative team discuss the sitcom tone of WandaVision, why Kat Dennings and Randall Park are returning and how the show will approach the mystery of how it exists to begin with.
iirc there was some comic where Vision created family for himslef with wanda through tech and soul stone ... this could switch it up that Wanda created it and through her power crated ne dimnension or something
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
Watched the 2 eps.
Interesting. But execution isn't its solid point.
The breaches are nice/ok and take you out of the poor execution and drive in the already established main plot.
I see what they're trying to do, but its just so odd and off and not in a good way. I can see why the praise. But its only interesting if youre invested in the mcu lore.
Life on Mars had better breaches though and better execution.

Anyone else thought of Michael Kelso and his dad from That 70's show, when Vision asks his colleague what they were actually doing in the firm they're working at? And then a few minutes later there comes "Kitty Forman", lol.
No way the show stays like that, clearly they are just trapped there. By the end of the Season it will be completely different. For now it's not really possible to give a rating.
Each episode is modeled after sitcoms of each subsequent decade, starting with the 50s. So this week's ep is going to be based on the 70s (The Brady Bunch). The more modern episodes will be based on Modern Family and The Office.
Last 3 episodes or so are expected to be closer to an hour each and superheroesque.

Yop. If only they nailed the styles rather than mimic an episode.
Anyone saying style over substance doesn't notice the obvious bits and pieces in the show. Like it nails it into your heads. So there is substance. Much like civil war had substance. Its just not nuanced like in good tv shows.
Well it was since that awful mcu movie I cant remember with that feminist broad. And that movie predates mcu chronologically. Soooooo
And in ffm Jackson went into space to the sword base or some shit.
Its nice cause it fits. I'm glad kat is back. Had a huuuge crush on her back in the days of yore, but that whiny snaggly voice is irritating me now still would. Still would very very much.
I just watched the first ep and it felt like an hour and after 5 minutes I was like OK, I get what you are trying to do, but the rosey 50s family shows are just PAINFULLY unfunny! I can sense that there is something lingering underneath that I really want to see uncovered but I feel as if I have to force myself through this to get to the "good" parts
Btw they are quite good at mimicking that era's shows.
