Read Michael Chrichton's "State of Fear", it's worth the buy just for the "extra" book on the end, where he gives his view, supported by scientists and reliable data

It may be so (good read btw), but it's probalby not news, i bet it's not the first time he is criticized for publishing a view of his own
I don't really like to discuss this matter, i have ideas of my own, many were 'changed' from what i read in that prologue.
It just seems that the whole world has to have something to shout about, make fuss, scientists and politicians have to justify their earnings, blah blah. Everybody wants some recognition, even to the point of making fools out of themselves, watch this, the "Ask a Ninja - Global Warming":

I believe it is a problem, but not that big, and given enough effort, solvable

No comment. There will always be nay-sayers along the road.

It is a serious problem that needs a real effort to be solved.

I work at the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, so i can give some RELIABLE info - not some POS site. In here (central Europe) its getting warmer either u like or not although year 2005 was the hottest lately. Water levels were critically and dramatically low which lead to many record levels.

R u shitting me?Thats a hilarious statment |
Actually it's not, as one side argues that man-made pollution is the main cause, other sides claim that animal feces produce far more gas than cars
(it's not my opinion, i remember reading about it somewhere, biomass plants shed some light on the subject, after all, animal feces do produce a lot of gas, usable gas)

What we need is some kind of global authority, to bring all nations and peoples together to achieve a common goal for the benefit of mankind. We are in a massive buy out and cosolidation of power, and resources, now we just need as many excuses we can find to obtain total control.
