I have been using this program to convert my xvid videos into a DVD with a basic menu selection (no chapters just top menu with icons per-ep). I succesfully did an entire tv season but now I have found a problem.
Problem.
I started to notice now that i start a new project, i add new avi's of 22mins 4 tv eps, create the menu as usual and go to out put. The elapsed time usually takes 1hr and 40mins or so for my comp usually. But for some odd reason the program keeps going up in time starting from 3hrs all the way to 16hrs to create this output.
Attempts.
Now i tried rebooting my machine loading the app again and i get no better results. i noticed it is not even using the process much like 4mb mem usage as suppose to 20-60mb usage it used to show.
My CPU heat is decent 40-45 Temp while the encoding is going on, so i don't think it's a heat issue. The Hdd's temp are low as well in the 20's so no heat there as well.
I tried to see if there was somthing with the avi's maybe something different with one of the videos or audios, but everything is looking fine with them.
Also tried ConvertXtoDVD which worked okay, but i do not like the interface and the menu system it has to offer.
Question?
So what exactly can be going on here that this Tmpgenc DvD Author is acting up all a sudden? please any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Comp Specs.
Intel P4 Core 2 Duo 3.04Ghz CPU
Asus P5NSLI32-Premium
1GB DDR II 667 memory
500GB Hdd
WindowsXP Professional w/SP2
Could there be some sort of memory leakage with this program, or my RAM/CPU gone bad?
Any programs out there to test my CPU & RAM other than sisoft sandra?
