Or for a little more you can go for the one in my sig(little more than 500usd in some stores here). Trust me, once you see the difference between a 22 and 24 you will want to save the little extra. I just love how lcd prices have plummeted recently.

thanks for the suggestions but i went against them all an ordered the HP PAVILION W2207V WIDE TFT 22".Because i read on the net about Samsung using several different manufacturers for their panels and only one was made by themselves (s panel) and the rest where supposed to be of lower quality, and samsung has confirmed that they are from now on only gonna use their own panels in that model but i figured that there has to be allot of them lower quality panels in circulation.
and the hp is about 50 euros cheaper and i also found some comparison pix: http://www.forumdeluxx.de/forum/showthread.php?t=352550 Don´t speak german but the Hp looks good to me.

I just bought an LG L226WTQ http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/l226wtq.jhtml and I'm very happy with it, first because I really like LG monitors and this is surely one of LG's top monitors and very cheap also, only €300. second, this is really huge, I only had 19" monitors so far, this is my first widescreen monitor and it's 22" wide, never tought it would be this big, when I'm using one application somewhere on the screen I totally forget the other applications that are open and maximized across the screen, now I have space to do whatever I want

I've got a Samsung 226 and it's a really good monitor. Oh and I have the C version. As long as you tweak the settings you can get it looking really good.

How do you know if you get (or have) the S-panel? I'm looking to buy one of these babies in about 2 weeks (pay day, yay) but if it's a gamle between the A, C and S panel I'm not so sure.
Any other recommendations in that case?
