I have Made Huge Mistake,

Is my game ruined,or the damage is not that bad?
has someone has save for Silent Hill 4:The room

o yes it does affect the ending , when you take this doll you get the bad endings - your room will be haunted by ghost that will take your energy and disable the health regeneration when you put this doll in the chest - then the only way to get the good endings now is to look for holy candles to exorcise your room !
so now you have to look on all maps for those candles ... thats the consequence for taking this doll ,
now you probably ask how may candles are there , well there are 14 ghost so you need to look now for 14 candles

that's happen without taking the doll
the doll only gives you a few extra ghosts.

yes , but you have to clean the room to have a good ending means :
with doll - 14 ghost ,you need 11 candles from 14 (needed only 80% to have good ending) , bedroom will take away your energy , no health regeneration , Walter will have more energy
without - 10 ghost you need only 7 of 10 candles

1. you can use medallions too to eliminate them.
2.for my experience,the bedroom
take your energy only if you take the doll with you or leave behind
ghost in your room without eliminating him.
but I'm not sure about it.
3.the no health regeneration thing
is happen no matter what,
it's not connected to the doll.
4. it's a rumor with no real proof that the final boss is more powerful.
