Agree...it was mind numbing for me.

Diablo II kept my attention even after hours upon hours of clicking.
Dungeon Siege (I & II) I got bored of very quickly.

It just didn't have that special something.

The "Dungeon Siege" name officially belongs to either Microsoft or Take Two/2K Games, I believe.

A few early E3 screens, quite similar to DS2 aside from being set in future space.

EDIT: IGN preview.

It's been a while since I updated this thread but there's not much to report, as usual there's some new previews and screens available in sites like Gamespot and IGN.

However there's rumors that this title will also be released on consoles albeit it hasn't been finalized yet but it seems quite likely to happen.

EDIT: Since I mentioned it here's IGN's "Space Siege" page, has a few previews and some images.

i really do dislike the fact that you don't create your own char... for me that kills half the role playing element (like in the witcher..) Anyway.. i hope that this one will have a strong coop mode... and won't be just another 'alien shooter' (cuz it really do looks like one..)

I never clicked with the Dungeon Siege games, but since this seems to be more story driven, I might get it provided people who like the same stuff I do recommend it.

I liked Dungeon Siege 1, but I've since come to detest all click and slash games.

I also think fisk should be unbanned.

melee works better in these rpgs. justifying melee in sci-fi is harder than fantasy. so chances are a bunch of artificially short-ranged weapons, which will suck balls.

Holy hell.... that framerate looks awful! >_<

Still, on the plus side - at least now we get to see what the game looks and plays like. 10/10 for effort, Sega/GPG

Seems that after Space Siege is complete the studio will focus on the real Dungeon Siege 3 title albeit things will be done a bit differently compared to the first two titles.
