demand a new machine.
I took a poll of 466 votes, 54% had no issues, 46% had issues.
Half the 46% had to repeatedly send in their 360 for repair, the remainder no longer have an issue after getting a new console.
demand a new machine, their repair service is either ensuring it works when it gets to you (no guarantee for any other time) or they send you some other poor souls console which just died, and perform the same repairs.
You're almost guaranteed to need to send back a "repaired" or "refurbished" console.

They've really done nothing to fix it. If you dont have warranty this is a 90% sure fix for you problem.

I've had more success with RBJtech's method. No longer cringe when we turn on our xboxes.

I have a refurbished console, and it works great. Had it for over a year now, no probs. But yeah theres a lot of people having trouble with their "repaired" & "refurbushed" consoles

i think hes modded his firmware hence voiding his warranty, send it to a repair shop or fix it yourself using the heatsink method.

My 360 is flashed, and my local Thai fixers are fixing it, Microsft hasn't even released the 360 in Thailand, they seem to think we have got a problem about Piracy ?!?
Hope Master Juba didn't for the first time say anything interesting/Constructive or helpful, cos I can't see his posts.
If I uby a new one I'm gonna get one of those fans that go on the back, or get another internal one

Ive had a Nikon Intercooler on my 360 pretty much since launch day. Ive had the 3 red lights issue a couple of times but it seems to have resolved itself just by turning off the console and powering back on again. I havent had the red lights for some time now. Its an odd thing. For some people it seems to be permanent. What exactly causes the red lights? Is it just overheating or are there many symptoms that cause it?
May the NFOrce be with you always.

Shit manufacturing/design of "X" clamps cause the board to flex when heated = 3 red lights.
