Im in the water temple, the beginning where you walk in and you have that long flight of stairs and the chains you have to jump on to pull. Well I'm supposed to jump on these and pull one down, well...guide says jump off the ledge to pull it? What ledge. Theres only stairs which link naturally walks down.

Ah what a fun dungeon! I remember this one! Ingenious level design lol. If you go up the stairs you should be able to walk around the edge and there are ledges with more chains to jump to. If you cannot get to them you may need the Clawshot? Razz

ya I got it. I looked at the guide and their seriously backwards. They so go to my right and theres nothing there but a wall, west means east, north means south, it's stupid as hell

Maybe try figuring it out without the guide...

seriously if your gonna use a guide to spoil a first run through of the treasure that is the zelda franchise you need to be ripped of all gaming peripherals and cast out into the normal non gaming world.
